Then they'd probably fire me.

It's pretty funny how I loathe justifying my time down to the quarter hour, but Colicelli has sufficient time on his hands to break it down to the ".107th" of an hour (that 6:25.2, for those of you keeping score at phone).Mistër Cleänhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00587115847676191978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33451159.post-76561932778610984162008-02-06T14:20:00.000-05:002008-02-06T14:20:00.000-05:00You're absolutely correct, Chrissy. And if you want...You're absolutely correct, Chrissy.

And if you want more "proof" of how sloppily the Colecilli contract is handled, check this out: http://www.trentonfacts.com/colicelli.htmOld Mill Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00325710488598264250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33451159.post-55278901588264733322008-02-06T13:06:00.000-05:002008-02-06T13:06:00.000-05:00I serve as an independent consultant for one of my...I serve as an independent consultant for one of my clients, and I must -- as in I will not get paid if I don't -- break down my invoices with the minutest of details: what projects I worked on, the dates I worked on those projects, the number of hours spent on each project, the number of revisions on each project, the amount of communication (email, phone calls, overnight couriers, etc) needed to complete each project. I do not get a car, or gas, or even reimbursed for every little thing -- that's the stuff for my taxes, and I factored in how much extra stuff (driving, phone calls) I need to do for this client and factored it into my hourly rate.

Yes, that's Corporate America, and not government work, but there is no good reason our financially struggling city should be the friggin' bottomless feedbag strapped to mouth of a totally extraneous consultant.
